Job description

The Center for Courageous Kids (CCK) is a world-class camp serving children with serious illness and their families since February, 2008. Our year-round camp programs have served over 43,000 campers from 46 states and 13 countries. We serve children who typically would not be able to attend camp due to their illness and financial constraints. CCK provides respite and support for these children and their families and is designed exclusively for the use of an underserved and medically fragile population. The children and families who attend CCK are able to experience activities like horseback riding, boating, fishing, rock climbing and bowling with no limitations or barriers. CCK family retreats and summer camp sessions are offered at NO COST to the children and families we serve.
We are seeking a qualified person for the position of Program Coordinator. The Program Coordinator supports the mission of camp by planning, coordinating, and delivering year-round program activities and events. This position designs and implements safe, engaging, inclusive, and age-appropriate programs that meet the needs and abilities of campers and families. The Program Coordinator assists with overall camp operations under the direction of the Camp Director and helps ensure a positive, supportive experience for campers, families, staff, and volunteers.
