Schedule: Full-Time
Wage: 11/HR

Would you like to make a difference every day in someoneโ€™s life? As a Program Assistant in our Adult Day Program, youโ€™ll provide meaningful support and play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for the individuals we serve.


Position Overview

Provide care and support to health-impaired older adults and individuals with brain injuries, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and behavioral or mental health diagnoses
Assist with the development and implementation of individual and group activity programs
Support daily living activities including personal hygiene, bathing, grooming, meal preparation, and medication administration
Promote independence by teaching life skills, encouraging self-advocacy, and building self-esteem
Ensure the safety, security, and well-being of individuals in a structured day program setting
Assist with participation in community-based activities and social engagement
Foster positive relationships and encourage social interaction


REQUIREMENTS โ€“ PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

To be considered for this position, all requirements below must be met:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
Must be at least 18 years of age
Minimum one (1) year of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred (experience with older adults is a plus)
Current physical (within the past 12 months) and annual TB test required
CPR and First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain)
Knowledge of vital signs, weights, and Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) preferred
Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
A caring, compassionate attitude with a dedication to supporting others
Reliable, responsible approach and commitment to quality care
