Job description

ASRC Federal Facilities Logistics LLC is seeking a Program Assistant onsite to support an ATF (Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms) contract in Washington DC. ASRC Federal provides information security, enterprise architecture, software development and health IT solutions to federal government customers. Work Location: Washington, DC

Responsibilities:ย 

  • Processes Freedom of Information Act/Privacy Act requests
  • Files read receipt correspondence
  • Serves as the PSD courier to hand-carry mail throughout ATF Headquarters and DOJ
  • Receives and reviews all incoming mail and correspondences; Prepares responses to general inquiries; also Performs data entry with accuracy and little to no supervision
  • Ships materials and documents via commercial carrier
  • Serves as a receptionist (answers phone and greets/escorts visitors), Forwards calls to the appropriate parties within PSD, and monitors voicemails
  • Orders, maintains, and disseminates supplies
  • Maintains office equipment and makes services calls
  • Serves as the primary point of contact (POC) for any outside agency including federal, state and local enforcement requesting a background investigation previously completed by ATF
  • Documents receipt of prior background investigations received from other agencies;
  • Maintains databases and spreadsheets to track information (fingerprint results, personnel security file requests, security forms); and Files, maintains, and safeguards hardcopy documents and correspondence
  • Scans and copies personnel security records
  • Coordinates and facilitates requests for on-site fingerprint appointments and takes fingerprint scans for FBI fingerprint checks as a part of the background investigation process; also provides accurate and reliable information regarding the fingerprinting process
  • Conducts PIV checks
  • Provides full administrative and secretarial support for PSD and prepares reports to provide information related to organizational, administrative, and/or procedural tasks
  • Interacts with various parties within ATF and other agencies using professional and courteous interpersonal skills (document requests, status updates); and
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PPT)
  • Excellent time management and ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Good customer/client handling skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • US Citizen and ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in office environment
