Job description

East Noble School Corporation is accepting applications for the following vacancy:   Pathways Program Instructional Assistant

Building:  East Noble Academy

Position will begin in August 2026 with the start of the 2026-27 school year
7 hours per day when school is in session.  Starting pay is $16.36 per hour.
This position is offered medical, dental, vision insurance and Indiana Public Retirement Fund.
Grades 6-12, General Education and Special Education Students are assigned to the ALC.
Purpose: Support the Pathways program, assist with light clerical duties, and provide instructional assistance to students as needed. Graduation Pathways is program that allows high school students to personalize their graduation requirements to meet their postsecondary goals.  The ALC has a locally created pathway called the Evolution Towards Employability.
Pathways Program Support
          Collaborate with the Pathway coordinator to assist with career-focused programming.
          Organize and oversee Pathways-related activities, such as student internships and community partnerships.
          Help maintain records for the Pathways program, including documentation of student progress and participation.
          Serve as a liaison between students, teachers, and external partners involved in Pathways opportunities.
Clerical Support
          Perform light clerical duties, such as managing schedules, filing, and maintaining accurate records.
          Support with data entry and other administrative tasks to enhance efficiency.
Instructional Assistance
          Work with students one-on-one, in small groups, or in classroom settings to provide academic and behavioral support.
          Monitor and document student progress and assist in implementing intervention plans.
          Supervise students in assigned areas, ensuring safety and promoting a positive learning environment.
Professional Responsibilities
          Attend all required training sessions and apply training within the classroom and Pathways program.
          Maintain confidentiality of student information in accordance with school policies.
          Communicate effectively and regularly with students, staff, and program partners.
          Participate in team planning sessions and collaborate with staff to support the building's goals.
Candidate must have one of the following:
Minimum of 60 college credits
Associate's Degree
Paraprofessional certification
Or be willing to take and pass Paraprofessional certification test 
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experience working with middle and high school students in educational or professional settings.
Familiarity with career-focused programs, internships, or community partnerships is a plus.
