The Impact Center for Community Development & Inclusionimplements programs and activities that address issues of diversity, power, and privilege with a goal of improving the campus climate and enhancing community life at Bryn Mawr College. We do so with a lens that advances anti-racism, wellness, welcome, and belonging for all students.

The Program Assistant will provide administrative and data support to the Impact Center.Using a variety of project management, communication, and organizational skills, the Program Assistant supports a team of Student Life administrators, with aportionof the role dedicated to International Student and ScholarServicesAdvising. The Program Assistant must be comfortable with computers, general office tasks, detailed oriented, and excel at both verbal and written communication.

Position Responsibilities:

Administrative Support

  • Provide information aboutImpact Centerprogramsto faculty, staff, students, and guests through phone calls,emailcorrespondence andattendingtowalk-in visitors.

  • Manage calls, emails, and inquiries to the Impact Center.Schedule appointments for Impact Center staff.

  • Maintain allImpact Centerbudgetary records and provide regular budget reports toImpact Centeradministrators.

  • Pay invoices and process reimbursements and honorariums, including reimbursements for student organizations and student program coordinators.

  • Keep public areas tidy and organized. Oversee daily functions of department space (distributes incoming mail, and packages, etc.) Actas a liaison with Facilities and Housekeeping departmentsregardingmaintenance.

  • Order supplies for the entire department and all Impact Center-affiliated programs.

Student Supervision

  • Coordinate hiring of student office staff and student coordinators for the Impact Center.

  • Track and manage biweekly payroll forImpact Center-hired student workers.

  • Manage and provide oversight to Student Social Media Coordinator.

Communication

  • Maintain and updatewebsites and social media accounts for The Impact Center.

  • Co-administer the email list-servs for assigned groups and department areas.

  • Project Management

  • Provide organizational and eventsupport for major programs and services offered by theImpact Center

  • Support selection processes fortheImpactCenterFellowship, the Dr. Hayley S. Thomas Prize, Community Diversity Assistants, Student Coordinators, and otheractivities asassigned.

  • Supports affinity groups with budget planning and tracking.

Other Duties

  • Perform otherduties as assigned or directed, including some evening and weekend responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or two years of relevant experiencerequired.
