Program Administrator
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Program Administrator works as part of a multi-disciplinary team in providing supervision to adult residents with sever and persistent mental illness.
Job Type: Full Time
Starting Pay: $78,000
Work Location: Houston Texas
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Assessment of the facility operations and programs.
· Support Staff by attending weekly staff training/house meetings.
· Collaborate with the individual, care team, and service providers to identify adaptive aid needs that support goals identified in the Individual Recovery Plan
· Oversee and maintaining up to date employee records
· Maintain a valid Texas driver license and proof of automobile insurance.
· Ensure the provisions of services to clients with special health and mental health care needs with appropriate regard for the client’s physical and mental health needs.
· Regularly checking facility and client documentation for accuracy and up to date information.
Participate in HHSC audits, program monitoring, and compliance reviews.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
· Ability to climb stairs multiple times a day and be able to lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds.
· Ability to sit, rise, kneel, squat, twist, pull bend multiple times a day.
· Ability to walk with items in hand, grasp and reach as needed.
· Ability to perform with repetitive maneuvers and manual dexterity.
· Ability to work in an office environment.

Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONs
· Must be 21 years of age.
· High School Diploma or GED.
· Knowledge of Medicaid, HHSC programs, or HCBS services preferred.
· At least two (2) years of experience working in an administrative support capacity
· At least two (1) year of Mental Health experience preferred.
· Knowledge of psychiatric illness and treatment.
· Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
· Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively work with individuals and groups.
· Ability to flex work hours as needed.
· Willing to work some weekends and overnight shift.
· Possess strong interpersonal leadership, analytic, and problem-solving skills.
· HHSC FBI and DOJ criminal background clearances.
· Valid driver’s license.
· CPR/First Aid/BLS certification
· PPD Clearance
