Job description

What You Will Do to Change Lives 

The Administrator manages all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the Program, which involves ensuring regulatory compliance and actively overseeing quality assurance performance improvements.  Additionally, the Administrator collaborates with all corporate departments and outside consultants and representative of the program to State/County agencies, community partners, and consumer groups. Employees in this role are required to participate in a structured on-call rotation, remaining accessible and prepared to respond to work-related needs within a designated timeframe. Rotations are scheduled in advance. While on-call, employees must actively monitor communications (e.g., phone, email) and respond in accordance with operational protocols.

 

Shifts Available: 

Full-Time | AM | Shifts: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM | Days: Monday – Friday

Expected starting wage range is $82, 353.30 - $101,712.50. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements. 

 

What You Bring to the Table (Must Have) 

  • QUALIFICATIONS Required:

    ·       High School Graduation or G.E.D.

    ·       One (1) year experience providing direct care to individuals with developmental disabilities with challenging behavior service needs, at least 6 months must be working with adult individuals.

    ·       Must have at least two (2) years’ experience providing direct care or supervision to individuals with developmental disabilities.

    ·       Adult Residential Facility (ARF) Administrator certificate issued by the California Department of Social Services or must be registered within 60 days and obtain certification within 6 months and maintain through employment.  ARF certification must be complete prior to providing on-call support or backup administrator duties (more than 14 days).

    ·       Residential Services Orientation certificate through a Regional Center or register for the first available training within 60 days and obtain certificate and maintain throughout employment.  RSO certification must be complete prior to proving on-call support or backup administrator duties.

    ·       Board certified as a Registered Behavior Technician within 60 days of initial employment or be a Qualified Behavior Modification Professional (must be RBT certified prior to proving on-call support or backup administrator duties)

    ·       DSP I and DSP II certification or obtain both certifications within six (6) months of initial employment. 

    ·       Must fully qualify as an administrator and obtain written approval from RC and DDS prior to acting as a back up administrator.

    ·       Complete 25 hours of continuing education hours every 12 months

    ·       Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.

    ·       Complete 32 hours of on-site orientation within the first 40 hours of employment.

    ·       Complete 16 hours of emergency intervention training within the first 80 hours of employment and renewed annually.

    ·       Must be CPR, First Aid, and CPI certified (hands-on course) on date of employment or prior to providing direct client care and maintain current certification throughout employment.

    ·       All opportunities at Telecare are contingent upon successful completion and receipt of acceptable results of the applicable post-offer physical examination, 2-step PPD test for tuberculosis, acceptable criminal background clearances, excluded party sanctions, and degree or license verification. If the position requires driving, valid driver license, a motor vehicle clearance and proof of auto insurance is required at time of employment and must be maintained throughout employment. Additional regulatory, contractual or local requirements may apply 

    Valid and current driver’s license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.

    Willingness to use your personal vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.  (weekly mileage reimbursement at the IRS rate)

The homes have unique characteristics and offer person-centered planning, positive behavior supports, trauma-informed care, and other services and supports which are beyond what is typically available in other community-based homes
