Salary Information

Compensation plans are based on a multi-step progression system. The pay range reflects the entry level and maximum salary potential in the assigned pay grade.\r\n**A starting salary may be negotiated and will be commensurate with education, training and experience in alignment with pay administration policies and Montgomery Personnel Board Rules & Regulations**\r\n

Nature of Work

This trainee-level job class is designed for\r\nindividuals beginning their careers in a targeted field and involves\r\nperforming a wide-range of professional-level positions. This position requires\r\na degree in the targeted job field.The employee will work under direct\r\nsupervision for a period of time (up to two years) until the employee meets the\r\nminimum qualification of the targeted position. After becoming qualified,\r\nthe employee will be eligible for promotion.\r\n

Minimum Qualifications

Must have a post-high school degree in the assigned position.\r\n\r\n\r\nNOTE: Employees hired as a professional trainee\r\nwill work no more than two (2) years to be eligible for promotion.\r\n\r\n

Kind of Examination
