Job Opportunity: Full-Time Fabrication Technician Trainee

Olsson Industrial Electric is a leader in the industrial electric arena.ย  We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Fabrication Technician Trainee.ย  This is an entry-level position designed for someone who wants to learn the trade and build a long-term career in metal fabrication. No prior experience is required - we will provide hands-on training and mentorship to help you grow into a skilled fabricator.ย  As you gain skills and experience increase, advancement opportunities within our shop will become available.

Job Responsibilities

As a Fabrication Technician Trainee, you will:ย 

  • Assist senior fabricators with daily shop tasks.
  • Learn to use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
  • Prepare and organize materials for projects.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Develop skills in welding, cutting, measuring, and assembly.

Qualifications
