Job description

CMM Trainee - 3rd Shift
Must be available to train on 1st shift.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
  • Operate CMM as well as online/offline programming
  • To accurately utilize surface plate tools. (Micrometer, Vernier Height Gage, Squares, etc.)
  • To manufacture form templates, splashes and any type of special means tooling required to support TSAC
  • To manufacture and repair detail and assembly checking fixtures
  • To insure Layout Department is properly maintained
Minimum Requirements:
  • High School Diploma
  • Ability to understand and read measurement instruments
  • Previous experience in Quality or hands on experience in a similar field
  • You will be required to complete education classes in accordance to the Trainee Education Plan for the TSAC Layout Technician Program
  • Required Courses are reimbursed at 100% for tuition and related fees
  • Department Transfer
    Must have no more than two (2) attendance points. Has worked in current department for three (3) months (temp seniority included) and no shift changes or line/cell changes in the last six (6) months.
  • Shift Change or Line/Cell Transfer
    Must have no more than two (2) attendance points. No shift changes or line/cell changes in the last six (6) months.
  • Promotional
    Must have worked as a TSAC associate for 3 months. (temp seniority included). Must have no more than two (2) attendance points. No more than one active (1) progressive discipline or one active (1) PIP. Must have no active safety violations.
