Location: 5325 Old Oxford Road, Durham, NC 27712
Pay Rate: 27.00
Preferred Experience and Skills
• At least two (2) years of manufacturing operations experience.
• Leading instructor-led or hands-on training
• Shop-floor cGMP manufacturing and familiarity with pharmaceutical regulatory requirements
• Facility, equipment and/or process start up activities in a sterile cGMP environment • Ability to work both independently and as a part of a Team
• Production planning/scheduling
Qualifications:
Education Minimum Requirement
• High School Diploma/GED AND at least six (4) years of experience OR
• Bachelor's degree AND at least four (2) years of experience
Required Experience and Skills
• Experience working in a GMP environment
• Strategic and effective written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to foster a collaborative work environment
• Demonstrated interpersonal, technical aptitude, and problem-solving skills
• Provide training, motivate/empower others, and resolve conflict
• Flexible and able to manage multiple priorities
• Goal oriented and able to manage risks
Primary Responsibilities • Ability to effectively coach new trainees to build their skills so that they may become effective operations technicians. • Analyzing and implementing initiatives, training programs, and systems that will help to increase overall success within the department. • Overseeing the facilitation of training programs that emphasize active learning, customer needs, department integration, and appropriate organization. • Participating in training for new hire training programs. • Manage the Material needs for the Training Center. • Manage the tracking of training completion during onboarding.
