Job description

Position Overview

Surefox North America Inc., a veteran‑owned company, is hiring an experienced Bookkeeper/Accountant to manage accounts receivable, support month‑end close, perform reconciliations, and ensure compliance with GAAP.

Responsibilities
  • Accounts Receivable Management – Generate and distribute invoices, monitor outstanding receivables, process payments and credit memos, investigate billing discrepancies, and maintain collection records.
  • Bookkeeping & Financial Administration – Record financial transactions in QuickBooks, maintain general ledger and supporting documentation, process journal entries, and assist with accounts payable when needed.
  • Reconciliations & Financial Reporting – Conduct monthly bank reconciliations, reconcile customer accounts, prepare recurring financial reports and schedules, assist cash‑flow reporting, and support ad‑hoc reporting requests.
  • Month‑End Close & Compliance – Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, prepare financial statements and management reports, ensure GAAP compliance, support audits, and maintain regulatory reporting and tax documentation.
  • Process Improvement – Identify workflow efficiencies, recommend internal control enhancements, and support implementation of accounting system improvements.
Requirements
  • Eligible for employment in the United States; must pass background check and drug screening.
  • 10–15 years of progressive bookkeeping, accounts receivable, or accounting experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
  • Extensive experience with accounting transactions, bank and account reconciliations, payroll processing, and payroll‑related reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting requirements, and internal controls.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Desired Qualifications
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience in a service‑based or security industry organization.
  • Experience supporting multi‑state payroll operations.
  • Knowledge of accounting controls, audit procedures, financial forecasting, budgeting, and ERP or financial management systems.
  • Professional bookkeeping or accounting certification preferred.
Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range: $105,000 - $126,000 annual.
