Looking for a Production Manager position in the Food Industry? Pacific Cheese has been family owned and operated for over 55 years. We offer a generous and affordable benefits package, including health, dental and vision.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY: (Summary of job duties) Coordinate Manufacturing activities either directly or through subordinate supervision. Establish procedures for ensuring highest standards for product quality and safety. Manage operations to insure that annual corporate goals for efficiency, quality and safety are met.

Establish and maintain effective working relationships internally and externally. Communicate effectively with all departments. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Develop and implement operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems and improve product quality and line efficiencies.

• Direct production activities and establish priorities. • Review and analyze production reports implementing corrective action as required. Provide reports as required to senior management.

• Responsible for ensuring that all production line efficiency, quality and safety standards are met. • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; coaching and counseling employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
