About the Opportunity
As the Machine Operator at Monin, you will be responsible for working as part of a team of talented producers to manufacture, bottle, and package syrups, purees, and flavors following Monin specifications. We have passion and commitment to quality, and we hope you do too! As a good Machine Operator, you are a self-motivated team player. You have the skills to work successfully with all machinery to keep it running efficiently. What You'll Do

Operate, clean, troubleshoot and change over production equipment.

Complete and document sanitation on equipment and surrounding areas as required in the master sanitation schedule.

Produce the product according to specification on the requisition sheet and according to plant safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices.

Ability to troubleshoot process nonconformities, identify root causes and take corrective action.

Utilizes TPM methodology to clean, inspect, lubricate and maintain equipment.

Report equipment concerns / repairs needed to maintenance staff on duty and record work orders in the maintenance program (CMMS)

Communicate, collaborate, and coordinate effectively with Syrup, Maintenance and Scheduling teams.

Monitor product quality and ensure activities are performed to quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions.

Embrace and encourage housekeeping and sanitation of all manufacturing work areas.

Identify training opportunities for operators and bring them to the attention of the Manufacturing Supervisor and Manufacturing Director.

Ensure that all work instructions and job aids are followed, and all documentation and quality checks are completed following SQF requirements.

Use continuous improvement mindset to improve processes.

Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work area and follow chemical handling procedures.

Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management

Upholds, inspires and rewards adoption of company mission and values in the workplace.

Ability to be trained and operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other related machinery safely and efficiently.

Performs other duties as assigned in relation to machine operation and manufacturing support.
