We are looking for a 1nd Shift Production Manager. This position will be based in Knightdale, NC.
We are seeking a 1nd Shift Production Manager to support operations at the Skid facility at our SieSAW Knightdale, NC location. This role is a key part of an expanding leadership team and is critical to ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production while fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing startup environment. As a Production Manager, you will lead day-to-day manufacturing operations, develop frontline talent, and partner cross-functionally to drive operational excellence and meet business objectives.
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Production Manager will lead production activities for Siemens skid assembly one-of-a-kind operations in Knightdale/Raleigh, NC. You will manage production activities and report operational KPIs including Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People (SQCDP), as well as drive operational improvements.
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead and manage daytoday production operations to exceed safety, quality, delivery, cost, and customer performance targets
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including 6S, waste elimination, cycle time reduction, and process optimization
Plan and direct capital investments and resource allocation to improve productivity, optimize inventory, and align capacity with sales demand
Develop and engage talent by building leadership capability, fostering accountability, and promoting a strong ownership culture
Oversee production systems, data accuracy, and compliance across SAP, Salesforce, Dayforce, audits, and customer visits
