Production Coordinator / Production Administrator (2nd Shift)

Location: Durham, NC

Pay: $20.00–$25.00/hour (Based on Experience)

Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (Monday–Friday)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

We are hiring an experienced Production Coordinator / Production Administrator to support daily operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is not a general administrative position. Candidates must have previous experience working as a Production Coordinator, Production Administrator, or similar role on a production floor.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, has strong Microsoft Excel skills, and is comfortable working directly with production supervisors, operators, and scheduling teams to keep manufacturing operations running efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily production activities and workflow on the production floor.
  • Maintain accurate production reports, schedules, and work orders.
  • Track production progress and communicate updates to supervisors and management.
  • Enter and maintain production data using Microsoft Excel and internal systems.
  • Generate and update production reports and spreadsheets.
  • Support scheduling, production planning, and inventory coordination.
  • Ensure production documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted on time.
  • Communicate with multiple departments to resolve production issues and maintain workflow.
  • Assist leadership with administrative and operational support as needed.
Required Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Production Coordinator, Production Administrator, Production Clerk, or similar production support role in a manufacturing environment is required.
  • Experience working on a production floor is required.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, sorting, filtering, and reporting.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with production teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, textile, apparel, or industrial production operations.
