Role: Mechanical Engineer
 Location: Maple Grove, MN(Onsite)
 

Job description

We are seeking a qualified, innovative production engineer to join our growing organization. In
this position, the candidate will be supporting new work coming into Operations and will be
creating manufacturing packages to produce high-quality product. The candidate will be
working with HVAC systems and components including but not limited to: enthalpy & sensible
plate heat exchangers, energy recovery wheels, gas and electric heaters, hot water coils, cold
water coils, DX coils, filter racks, control dampers, fan array systems, etc.
Job duties to include, but not limited to:
• Project management and project ownership from job release to job completion
• Purchasing components and vendor management
• Communicate with clients and vendors to obtain materials and/or equipment needed
• Creating manufacturing packages including shop drawings, and assembly instructions
• Providing shop/Manufacturing support
• Create engineering solutions for sheet metal design optimization
• Participate and/or lead Continuous Improvement efforts
• Support sales team with design review to ensure successful installation
Qualifications:
• Engineering Degree required
• SolidWorks experience required
• 2D CAD experience required
• Experience in the commercial HVAC industry is a plus
• Lean six sigma certification is a plus
