2nd Shift

Hours: 3:30P - 12:00A

Summary:

Production Associate 1 is responsible for the receipt, warehousing, supply to Production, and shipping of the MTEA material. They are to work safely, always maintaining the quality of the material.  Production Associate 1 works to keep high inventory accuracy, as well as utilizes First In First Out (FIFO) method of controlling inventory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work safely at all times.
  • Understand and follow work instructions.
  • Practice and follow all Quality Assurance requirements (i.e., TS16949, IATF16949, ISO14001, etc.) & internal procedures.
  • Complete department housekeeping and adhere to 5S standards.
  • Contribute to teamwork environment.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities as assigned.
  • Participate and complete all mandatory overtime including Saturday and Sunday, as scheduled.
  • Pick/pack parts with high accuracy.
  • Load/unload trucks.
  • Recycle any/all items allowed.
  • High accuracy/organization of paperwork/physical counts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by MTEA management.

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. throughout the shift.
  • Ability to stand throughout the shift and overtime as assigned.
  • Proficient in computers and RF scanning.
  • Prefer ERP computer experience.
  • Must have forklift experience.
