Way Scarff Ford & Isuzu has proudly served the community since 1922 and continues to grow as one of the region's leading Ford dealerships. We are currently seeking an experienced Ford Recall Technician to join our team. This position is designed for a technician who excels at performing recall repairs accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with Ford Motor Company standards.
Position Overview
The Ford Recall Technician will be responsible for completing Ford safety recalls, customer satisfaction programs, field service actions, and warranty-related repairs. This is a flat-rate position with performance-based bonus opportunities for technicians who consistently achieve high productivity, quality, and compliance standards.
The ideal candidate has previous Ford dealership experience, understands Ford's warranty and recall processes, and can effectively navigate Ford's diagnostic and repair systems while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
  • Perform Ford safety recalls, customer satisfaction programs, and field service actions in accordance with Ford Motor Company procedures.
  • Follow all Ford repair instructions and documentation requirements.
  • Utilize Ford diagnostic equipment, service publications, and computer systems to complete repairs accurately.
  • Ensure all recall repairs meet Ford quality and compliance standards.
  • Complete required inspection documentation, photographs, and warranty coding when applicable.
  • Verify recall eligibility and confirm repairs are properly completed before vehicle release.
  • Maintain productivity while delivering exceptional quality and accuracy.
  • Work closely with service advisors, warranty administrators, and parts personnel to ensure efficient repair completion.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Stay current on Ford recall procedures and service information updates.
