About This Position

The Director of Product Marketing for Financial Clearance + Patient Financial Care will lead the strategy, positioning, and commercialization of solutions that transform how providers engage patients financially, from pre-service clarity to post-service payment.

This leader will define how Waystar brings to market capabilities that improve financial transparency, accelerate collections, and elevate the patient financial experience, while driving meaningful results for providers.

This is a highly strategic role focused on connecting product innovation to revenue growth, market differentiation, and customer impact.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead go-to-market strategy: Own end-to-end GTM for patient financial clearance and care solutions, from positioning through launch and adoption
  • Define differentiated messaging: Articulate clear, compelling narratives that connect product capabilities to measurable financial and operational outcomes
  • Drive commercialization: Translate innovation into revenue through packaging, pricing, and sales enablement that improves pipeline, win rates, and expansion
  • Elevate market leadership: Shape Waystar’s voice in patient financial experience, including transparency, digital engagement, and patient responsibility trends
  • Deliver proof of value: Develop and operationalize ROI frameworks, client stories, and proof points that reinforce credibility and accelerate decision-making
  • Partner cross-functionally: Align Product, Sales, Client Success, and Marketing to ensure readiness and consistency across all customer touchpoints
  • Represent the market internally: Bring forward customer insights, competitive intelligence, and market trends to influence product and GTM strategy
  • Lead and develop the team: Manage and mentor a high-performing team of Product Marketing Managers, setting clear priorities, coaching for impact, and focusing work on the highest-value initiatives
What You’ll Need
  • Experience: 8–12+ years in product marketing, strategy, or related roles within B2B SaaS or healthcare technology, preferred revenue cycle specific experience
  • Domain expertise: Strong understanding of revenue cycle management, particularly front-end workflows such as eligibility, authorization, and patient financial engagement
  • GTM leadership: Proven ability to lead complex product launches and drive meaningful results tied to revenue and adoption
  • Commercial acumen: Experience translating product innovation into pricing, packaging, and sales motions that scale
  • Strategic thinking: Ability to connect market trends, customer needs, and product capabilities into a cohesive strategy
  • Executive presence: Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and present at the executive level
  • Data-driven mindset: Comfortable using data, ROI models, and customer insights to inform decisions and tell compelling stories
