Overview
The Commerce Media team is looking for a Manager, Product Development to drive delivery of innovative and sustainable Advertiser solutions that yield significant in year revenue and strategic long-term differentiation for Mastercard.
The role:
Contribute to the development of product concepts, prototypes, and features; independently owning and delivering key workstreams.
Work with engineering and CX&D teams on a day-to-day basis to translate strategy into tangible development plans by writing product requirements, prioritizing key milestones and tracking progress with Engineering, TPMs and tech leads.
Lead the strategy and roadmap for a wide range of capabilities, including technical components. Includes the delivery of new features as well as improvements to existing features.
Purview for this role will includes, but isn't limited to features that enable creative decisioning, automation of campaign creation, Offers creation & optimization workflows, as well as specific workstreams to support evolution into ads.
Support GTM efforts by providing key data points to assist with the creation of collateral that highlights our value proposition.
Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams, ensuring clarity and alignment throughout the product lifecycle.
Navigate a matrixed & globally distributed organization to influence stakeholders and drive outcomes within tight timelines.
Establish a network within the organization by building key relationships with Publisher team counterparts and various stakeholders across Sales, Ops, Legal, Privacy, Strategy, leadership, etc.
Mentor, develop, and foster the skills of junior product managers.
Support the creation of business cases and strategic planning for individual product initiatives.
Drive ideation for new-to-market product features and solutions through extensive internal/external research and workshops.
All About You
Extensive experience in product development, including partnering with Engineering teams, rapid opportunity assessment, concept creation, business model innovation, and global in-market testing.
Deeply disciplined in product management process & tools including; discovery, planning, user journey mappings, prioritization, milestone creation/management, backlog/roadmap management, collaboration with CX & design, KPI measurement, optimization.
Proven ability to effectively define MVP for new product features while also elevating products from MVP to maturity for existing product features.
Natural problem solver: analytical, curious, and fact-driven approach to product development.
Collaborative team player: proven track record in collaborating with multiple cross-functional (both internal and external) teams across multiple locations; facilitating challenging conversations and managing ambiguity.
Exceptional analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
Strong background in translating stakeholder needs into functional specifications, user journeys and process flows.
Strategic thinker with strong technical acumen and hands-on experience collaborating with technical teams.
Ability to manage priorities and delegate tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with ML/AI concepts, particularly in working with modelgenerated outputs (e.g., optimization models, predictive scoring, or automated decisioning systems). Ability to partner effectively with Data Science teams to interpret model behavior, dependencies, and implications for product design.
Preferred Skills
Prior experience in a PM role, or similar, working in agile environments.
Background in AdTech or MarTech strongly preferred .
Ideal candidates will be subject matter experts in Programmatic, Social or Digital buy or sell-side technologies and solutions.
Must possess a deep understanding of Advertiser campaign objectives and translate those into specific product requirements and workflows across mediums such as Ads and/or Card Linked Offers. Experience and deep knowledge building audiences and identity resolution capabilities.
CTV and Video experience is a plus.
