Sales Manager, Advanced Technologies (AdTech)

Huntsman is seeking a Sales Manager, Advanced Technologies (AdTech) supporting the Performance Products Division located in The Woodlands WW. This position will report to the Global Commercial Head, AdTech.

Job Scope

Responsible for managing the current portfolio of accounts within the AdTech business in the US, including servicing on-going customer requirements and maintaining an accurate outlook of demand. The role will also be responsible for identifying and commercializing sizable, new growth opportunities with a focus on the semiconductor industry. The AdTech Sales Manager will scale the business profitably by scoping new targets in line with the Huntsman business model of selling our current offer, purifying new materials, and purifying and packaging as a service.

In summary, as the Sales Manager, Advanced Technologies (AdTech), you will:

  • Manage current semiconductor chemical accounts, maintaining accurate sales forecasts and navigating pricing changes to ensure supply chain stability and profitability. Additionally, bridge the gap between commerce and compliance by managing plant quality audits and leading quality investigations to meet the industry's stringent purity standards.

  • Be fully accountable for converting growth targets from concept to commercialization. Responsible for value and activation of each opportunity. Identify and convert new growth according to the business needs of asset utilization and growth objectives. Coordinate and cooperate with the East Region on the global accounts.

  • Actively manage the required workstreams to commercialize each concept, including identifying the appropriate internal and external resources and technologies required to activate opportunities. Work closely with the AdTech Marketing Team to ensure full coordination with the strategic business direction.

  • Ensure that all work is carried out in full alignment with Huntsman EHS, quality, and corporate compliance requirements.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a business, engineering, or technical discipline.

  • Minimum of 10 years of combined experience in Production or R&D, Product Development, and Sales or Marketing.

  • At least 3 years of experience in semiconductor and/or display-related industries.

  • Proven track record of taking opportunities from concept to commercialization within the semiconductor sector.

Skills and knowledge

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to high-level stakeholders.
  • Team player as well as ability to have an objective critical view.

  • Fluency in English.

  • Achievement Orientation, Adaptability, Customer Focus, Decision Making, Organizational Commitment, Personal Conviction.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA in a business or technical discipline.

  • Experience working in a global, matrixed organization.

Working Environment

  • The incumbent is expected to work in a matrix organization with a high level of self-steering and self-motivation.

  • Leadership is exhibited in nearly every aspect of the job - safety, business strategy, technical direction, general management, development of staff, etc.
