HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT
The Associate Project Manager is responsible for initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of project(s) under the supervision of leadership. Responsible for developing and resolving issues associated with the project scope, time, budget, and resource allocation. Acts as a team member in support of design control and potential primary contact for partners and vendors. Ensures projects meet budget, timeline, and scope targets. Responsible for reporting and communicating project status to stakeholders and managing task completion with the team.

Candidates with demonstrated experience in project management and resource allocation using Adobe Workfront are strongly encouraged to apply.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Manage new or improved products, equipment, and processes projects from initiation to closure. Achieve goals within the scope of the new product development and under supervision of leadership.
  • Determine project schedule, calculate time requirements, identify, and sequence project elements including phases and deliverables, and identify discreet tasks.
  • Maintain production, design, and development records in accordance with LifeNet Health Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); including design history file documents, when necessary.
  • Responsible for project, process, product, and lab knowledge to assist design control, stakeholder reporting, vendor communication, and external partner communications.
  • Maintain project schedule. Monitor project progress, coordinate activities, and resolve obstacles. Manage project elements to include requesting, and allocating time, budget, and resource as necessary.
  • Support and facilitate team and leadership meetings to manage project scope, execution, and delivery. Prepare and present documentation and presentations for internal and external customers and stakeholders.
  • Support other product development needs of LifeNet departments as appropriate.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Two (2) years of related work experience in a medical product development, manufacturing environment, or equipment design.
  • One (1) year of experience leading, coordinating, or managing projects.

Preferred Experience/Skills/Certifications:
  • Master's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.
  • PMP Certification: Project management professional certification or equivalent
  • White Belt Lean Certification: Certification from LifeNet Health Lean University or similar within one (1) year.
  • Three (3) years of directly related medical device experience.

  • Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, building relationships with all professionals at different levels within the organization.
  • Coordination Skills: Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans, conferring with senior management and key stakeholders. Coordinates with interdepartmental managers for the availability, assignment, and accountability of downstream resources and technology. Communicates project/ program status to management and key stakeholders against metrics and constraints.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to perform tasks thoroughly and with care; checks work to ensure high degree of accuracy/ completeness and early/ on-time delivery.
  • Relationship Management: Builds and sustains partnerships across organizational boundaries and function as well as outside the organization to achieve common goals and outcomes.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize multiple, competing priorities and manage time/ workload. Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple time sensitive projects, multi-task, identify project interdependencies, and potential risks/ pitfalls.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, & Microsoft Suite.

COMPENSATION
Salary Range: $65,972 - $87,962 annually
Final compensation will be based on factors such as geographic location, qualifications, and prior relevant experience. The pay range for this position is 65,972 annually (entry level qualifications) to $87,962 annually (experienced in this role). Actual compensation may be higher based on the successful candidate's knowledge and relevant experience.
