Job description

Position:  Senior Product Owner

Location: Remote

PETADATA is currently hiring a  Senior Product Owner for one of their clients.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with organizational goals and market opportunities.

  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, product management, and engineering teams.

  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business value, customer needs, and technical feasibility.

  • Translate business requirements into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria for Agile development teams.

  • Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

  • Work closely with Scrum Masters, developers, QA teams, UX/UI designers, and architects to ensure successful product delivery.

  • Drive end-to-end product lifecycle management from concept, development, testing, release, and post-launch optimization.

  • Gather and analyze customer feedback, product analytics, and market insights to improve product features and usability.

  • Define and track product KPIs, metrics, and performance indicators.

  • Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, compliance, and security standards.

  • Support release planning, go-to-market strategies, and product adoption initiatives.

  • Mentor junior product owners and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.


Required Qualifications
  • 15+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, or Business Analysis roles.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Agile, Scrum, and SAFe frameworks.

  • Proven expertise in Product Backlog Management, User Story Mapping, and Requirement Prioritization.

  • Experience working with enterprise-scale applications, digital products, or SaaS platforms.

  • Strong experience with product management and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Rally, or similar tools.

  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

  • Experience with data-driven product development and product analytics tools.

  • Knowledge of API integrations, microservices architecture, and cloud-based platforms is preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or Business Administration.

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager certification is a plus.

Educational Qualification :

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
