Product Manager, LockTech Inc. (LTI)

As a Product Manager at LTI, you will play a pivotal role in successfully managing the operations and development of our safe locks product line. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of product management, including product development, customer engagement, and team leadership. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our company's growth and success.

Responsibilities as a Product Manager:

  • Collaborate with engineers and customers to develop and enhance safe lock products.
  • Manage product lifecycle, from concept to delivery, ensuring high-quality and on-time delivery.
  • Proactively identify and resolve product-related issues, demonstrating electro/mechanical savvy.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, employees, and engineers to facilitate effective communication.
  • Professionally and effectively represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and supplier visits, contributing to business development efforts.
  • Lead and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in various computer applications, including Microsoft Excel and Word.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager, Program Manager or Project Manager preferred.
  • Preferred background in electronics, mechanics, or related fields.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to visualize and conceptualize product ideas.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time for client visits, conferences, trade shows, and supplier visits.
  • Experience in a management role, preferably as a department head, or a demonstrated potential to manage teams effectively preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and be a proactive team player.
  • Strong work ethic and a "make it happen" attitude.
