Job description

Procurement Consulting Manager
About Elixirr:
Elixirr International plc is a global consulting firm with a bold ambition: to become the best consulting firm in the world.
Founded in 2009 to challenge a declining industry standard, we've grown from a single vision into a powerhouse of entrepreneurial talent, delivering boardroom strategy through to execution.
After IPO-ing on AIM in July 2020, Elixirr moved to the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange in July 2025. In that time, our market cap has grown from £98 million to over £350 million - a testament to our differentiated approach and relentless pursuit of excellence.
With a presence across the UK, US, EU, and South Africa, and a client base spanning industries and geographies, we've welcomed seven boutique firms into the Group. This has broadened our capabilities across creative, digital marketing, data and AI, procurement, transformation, and more.
Our vision of becoming a services unicorn is firmly within reach - and this is just the beginning. We're looking for exceptional talent to join us on this exciting growth journey and shape the future of consulting.
You will be based in London. Our headquarters are in Central London. It's where it all began for us and continues to be a hub of innovation and growth.
Job Summary
We're building the best consulting firm in the world. To help us achieve that, we're looking for an exceptional Procurement Consulting Manager with 5-8 years' experience in procurement strategy, cost transformation, target operating models, and commercial optimisation to join our global team.
You will lead high-impact procurement and cost transformation engagements, helping clients unlock value across sourcing, category management, supplier management, operating model design, digital procurement, and broader enterprise transformation.
As a Manager, you will often be the most senior full-time person on an engagement. This means leading delivery, owning senior client relationships, and being accountable for driving exceptional outcomes.
Responsibilities
Leadership & Delivery
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of procurement and cost transformation engagements, ensuring high-quality outputs within agreed timeframes.
  • Motivate, coach and develop team members while delegating and coordinating tasks across small, high-performing teams.
  • Take full responsibility for engagement delivery, proactively managing risks and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Act as the primary day-to-day client lead, maintaining strong relationships and delivery momentum.

Procurement Expertise
  • Shape and deliver procurement strategy and transformation programmes.
  • Design and implement procurement target operating models, including organisational design, governance, and process optimisation.
  • Lead strategic sourcing and category strategy development across direct and indirect spend.
  • Drive cost reduction and value creation initiatives, balancing savings with service, risk and sustainability objectives.
  • Develop robust business cases for procurement transformation, digital tools, outsourcing and supplier consolidation.
  • Improve supplier performance management frameworks and strengthen third-party risk management approaches.
  • Support implementation of digital procurement solutions (e.g., source-to-pay, contract lifecycle management, analytics tools).

Client & Stakeholder Management
  • Build and maintain senior client relationships, delivering exceptional value through outstanding delivery.
  • Facilitate workshops, executive decision-making sessions and cross-functional alignment forums.
  • Influence stakeholders across procurement, finance, operations, legal and executive leadership teams.
  • Translate complex commercial and operational challenges into clear, actionable insights.

Problem Solving & Growth
  • Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and big-picture thinking in solving complex procurement challenges.
  • Thrive in ambiguity - rapidly structuring unclear or loosely defined problems into tangible solutions.
  • Get up to speed quickly in new categories, industries or spend areas, confidently leading discussions as the expert in the room.
  • Identify commercial opportunities and contribute to business development, thought leadership and capability building.

Requirements
  • 5-8 years' experience in consulting and/or industry procurement roles.
  • Experience in one or more of:
    • Procurement strategy
    • Transformational change
    • Target operating model design
    • Operational excellence
    • Strategic sourcing and category management
    • Business case development
    • Outsourcing and supplier strategy
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end source-to-pay processes.
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams and delivering complex projects.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Experience facilitating workshops and senior-level discussions.
  • Adaptable communication style across different clients, industries and stakeholder groups.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and complexity while maintaining high-quality delivery.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for value creation and continuous improvement.
  • Flexible and resilient - able to thrive in a fast-paced consulting environment.

What We're Looking For
  • A confident and engaging personality.
  • A passion for commercial problem solving and value delivery.
  • Accountability and ownership mindset.
  • Self-awareness and commitment to continual improvement.
  • The ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Deep-end survival skills - rapidly mastering new categories or industries and leading with authority.
