Job Description
The position is responsible for identifying and managing services-related procurement projects primarily including client workforce classification analyses, Statement of Work (SOW) reviews, supplier and client education, cost savings negotiations, client SOW/contract audit, and tracking/reporting progress/results. The Consultant will work closely with the COE and, at times, AGS Client PMO resources to drive procurement value to the identified projects. The candidate will analyze client SOWs and data (contract language and data, suppliers, spend, etc.), and provide recommendations to ultimately execute proper workforce classification for client services engagements.
Responsibilities
  • SOW Language and Data, Trends, and Analyses: Analyze client Statements of Work, both manually or via enabling technologies, to provide analysis and determination of proper classification of work; provide recommendations to the Services Procurement COE Leadership on relevant information, key issues, and suggested actions. Manage data for Key Performance Indictors, savings, reporting, and analysis as needed to support the COE, as well as supplementing AGS Client PMO Teams.
  • Client Spend and Cost Savings Analysis: Review client SOW and spend data to assist COE and Program teams with spend categorization, opportunity assessments, savings estimates and proper classification/scoping.
  • Contract Review/Audit: Assist the COE Leads and Client Teams with review of SOWs to determine reclassification opportunity (e.g., SOW to Staff Aug) in an effort to identify and drive cost savings and reduce risk.
  • Services Procurement Solutions Development: Participate in and support projects related to development and deployment of methodology, infrastructure and tools for delivery of Services Procurement Solutions.
  • Reporting and Performance: Assist the COE Leads in tracking and measuring performance related to delivery of our solutions at a client level (micro and macro).
  • Client Program Support: Work with COE Leads to develop a consistent, shareable view of case studies and proof points across client programs where Services Procurement Solutions are in place.
  • Strategy: Support the development and delivery of the AGS strategy related to Procurement Solutions.
  • Training and Communication: Create documentation for communication of the AGS solution, for both internal and external use.

Qualifications
  • University/College-Level Degree or certification in business administration, procurement, finance, or related field preferred
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Excel
  • Must have strong technical ability as well as strong problem solving capabilities, strong analytical skills
  • Ability to be flexible and able to handle multiple tasks concurrently
  • Meaningful exposure to procurement principles and concepts in sourcing, procurement operations, managing supplier relationships, and business process improvement
  • Ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects
  • Excellent program management, quantitative and analytical skills
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Extremely effective communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders (written and verbal)
  • Ability to build strategic working relationships, to facilitate agreement with internal and external partners
