Role Summary


The Procurement Associate supports the execution of day-to-day procurement activities, ensuring efficient, compliant purchasing of goods and services. This role partners with internal stakeholders and suppliers to facilitate sourcing events, process procurement transactions, and maintain accurate documentation.


Key Responsibilities


Stakeholder Collaboration

- Partner with business units to understand scope, specifications, and timelines

- Provide guidance on procurement processes and ensure policy alignment

- Coordinate across internal teams to support issue resolution and delivery


RFQ / Sourcing Support

- Prepare and issue RFQs to suppliers

- Coordinate supplier communications, clarifications, and bid timelines

- Track and organize proposals; support basic commercial evaluations


Purchase Order Management

- Create and process purchase orders in the procurement system

- Validate alignment with approved quotes and budgets


Change Order Processing

- Process change orders for scope, cost, or schedule adjustments

- Ensure proper approvals and supporting documentation

- Maintain accurate revision history


Administrative & Compliance Support

- Maintain procurement documentation (quotes, POs, contracts)

- Assist with contract administration (renewals, amendments, tracking)

- Maintain positive working relationships with vendors
