Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client is seeking a temporary Procurement Analyst in Plantation, FL.
Duties:
* Monitor company and EDI inbox for new POs
* Responsible for EDI mapping for its assigned accounts
* Export EDI orders to ERP to be processed; Process POs manually for non EDI accounts
* Responsible for maintaining and overseeing the Procurement master order tracker, ensuring that customer order statuses are accurately reflected and that vendor purchase orders are released in a timely manner
* Follows customer vendor manuals to ensure requirements are considered. Example: order labels, polybags, etc.
* Prepares templates needed to process POs in bulk
* Seeks within multiple sources for product information and ensuring POs consider all item master information
* Analyze inventory availability and recommends alternatives during PO allocation process to reduce inventory exposure and meet customer ship dates
* Understands and considers all of the brand individual requirements when processing POs
* Reviews -Mass order log- Open PO report to approve ship dates where applicable
* Joins -Mass order log- Open PO calls to report and escalate issues preventing the analyst from processing orders
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as product development, planning, brand, sales, and order management to ensure seamless procurement operations
* Follows complex (sometimes contradictory) vendor allocation process to Purchase orders
* Works closely with Asia merchandisers to address issues and revise POs to ensure on- time delivery
* Ensures all vendor POs are confirmed and shipping on time
* Serves as support for other accounts when needed
* Supports the manager in other tasks as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
* 1-3 years of relevant procurement, supply chain, or order management experience
* Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Sage X3
* Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
* Ability to manage and analyze large data sets
* Strong collaboration and communication skills
* Ability to make informed decisions to meet tight deadlines
* Organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
