Job description

The Process Improvement Coordinator is responsible to and works directly for the Production Manager, and responsible for the maintenance department, shipping and receiving, and any process improvement documentation, including working with area leaders for sustainability and providing metrics for success. The primary methods for achieving this include:

  1. Preventative maintenance systems throughout the plant functions to keep Production at its utmost efficiency.
  2. All Grounds and building upkeep
  3. Coordinating 5S projects with the management team promoting safety and efficiency
  4. Coordinating with the purchasing manager and the production manager sustaining a safe and efficient shipping and receiving system, adjusting as needed to product demands.
  5. Constant kaizen (continuous improvement) as instructed by production manager.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

 

  • Ability to walk production areas and conduct audits.
  • May require standing, lifting, or bending during improvement activities.
