A-Level Diesel Technician - PFM Auto & Fleet - South
Earn $28-$44/hr
Address: 1402 W Hanna Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46217
Hours: M-F: 6AM-11PM EST; Sat.: 8AM - 4PM EST
PFM Auto & Fleet-part of the GreatWater 360 Auto Care family-is seeking an experienced A-Level Automotive Diesel Technician ready to take on advanced diagnostics, complex repairs, and leadership responsibilities in a high-performing shop. If you're a master problem-solver who thrives in a clean, well-equipped facility with a strong team culture, this is the career home for you.
What You'll Do as an A-Level Diesel Technician
  • Perform advanced diagnostics, electrical testing & engine diagnostics
  • Complete complex repairs: engine, emissions, suspension, alignment & cooling systems
  • Conduct full-system inspections & identify needed repairs
  • Deliver high-quality, efficient, accurate workmanship
  • Mentor lower-level technicians and support team development
  • Collaborate with service advisors to ensure excellent customer outcomes
  • Maintain a clean, safe, organized workspace

Requirements
What You Bring
  • Medium/Heavy Duty Diesel Exp Required
  • 5+ years automotive repair experience
  • Strong diagnostic skills across electrical, drivability & advanced systems
  • Ability to perform complex repairs with accuracy and efficiency
  • Strong communication, teamwork & problem-solving skills
  • A desire to continue growing through training and ongoing certification
