Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: M-F, 40 hours
Salary: $23.50/hr.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 2 years' maintenance experience required. Candidates must have mechanical aptitude.
  • Experience with energy management systems; Access Control Systems; IT wiring and Monitoring/Camera Systems preferred.
  • The candidate must have a valid NYS Driver's License with a driving record that follows Agency guidelines. Candidates must have reliable transportation as frequent travel between sites is required.

A relevant combination of education and experience will be considered.
About the Role:
Under general supervision, performs a wide range of facilities services. Effectively supports ongoing and collaborative communication amongst all program staff and is responsible for ensuring a trauma informed care environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for all aspects of preventive maintenance to ensure safe and secure Agency facilities.
    • Make appropriate repairs as directed by Supervisor.
    • Monitor sand reports any property damage to Agency facilities to Supervisor.
    • Maintains cleanliness and repair of buildings to include windows, flooring, and appliances.
    • May oversee contractors/vendors work for quality and adherence to contracts.
    • Janitorial duties may include but are not limited to cleaning/waxing floors, filling paper supplies, cleaning walls, washing windows, etc.
    • May be required to set up and tear down for Agency meetings, perform office moves, and painting.
  • Provide worksheets outlining completed tasks to the supervisor at the end of each day.
  • Provide tracking sheets to the supervisor at the end of each week.
  • Perform on-call procedures assigned by supervisor.
  • Actively participate in staff meetings and training as required.
