Registered Nurse Part Time Opwdd

We are Hiring! This position is located in Rochester, NY in the Nursing department. It is a part-time employment type, scheduled for 2.5 days per week, flexible 20 hr per week position, with a salary range of $35 to $38/hr.

Under general supervision, provides comprehensive health services to residents. Works collaboratively with external providers to facilitate client wellness. Maintains all applicable confidentiality and ethical standards of relevant governing bodies. Effectively supports ongoing and collaborative communication amongst all program staff and is responsible for ensuring a trauma informed care environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides a comprehensive health assessment of clients.
  • Provide oversight and supervision of AMAP staff โ€“ as needed.
  • Assists Prescribers.
  • Responsible for patient records.
  • Provides education to clients on health and wellness issues.
  • Actively pursues development of professional competencies related to job role performance.
  • Awareness and active support of the Agency's Mission, Vision, Values and Strategic Plan.
  • Participates in relevant Agency meetings and/or training.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Education: Minimum of an Associate in Applied Science degree in Nursing required. Bachelor of Science Degree is preferred.

Credentials: NYS Professional Registered Nursing License in good standing. Experience: At least two years of experience related to nursing services to individuals with IDD-related services strongly preferred.
