Job description

Primoris Energy Services is seeking a Timekeeping Coordinator I to support onsite Civil operations in Hubbard, TX. This position will be responsible for assisting with daily timekeeping functions, workforce tracking, payroll support, and project coordination for field operations. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of supporting multiple tasks in a fast-paced construction environment while working closely with project teams and field personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with entering, reviewing, and reconciling daily employee timecards in accordance with company policies and project schedules.
  • Communicate with field supervisors and craft employees to collect and verify timekeeping information.
  • Maintain organized records of attendance, manpower reports, onboarding documents, and project-related files.
  • Prepare daily and weekly manpower and payroll reports.
  • Support payroll processing by ensuring timely submission of employee hours and assisting with discrepancy resolution.
  • Assist with onboarding new hires by collecting required documentation and coordinating orientation schedules.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding timekeeping, payroll, and job assignments.
  • Support project management and field leadership with daily coordination needs.
  • Perform general coordination duties including filing, scheduling support, data entry, document control, and supply tracking.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee and project-related information.
  • Support a culture of safety, compliance, and professionalism onsite.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 1+ years of administrative, coordination, payroll, or timekeeping experience preferred, preferably within construction or industrial environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Experience with timekeeping systems such as mJob, HCSS, Viewpoint, SAP, or similar systems is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Must maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Working Conditions:
  • Onsite position located in Hubbard, TX.
  • Work performed in a construction site and/or project field office environment.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and perform computer/data entry tasks for extended periods.
  • Occasional exposure to outdoor construction conditions including heat, dust, uneven terrain, and noise.
  • May require occasional travel between project sites or regional offices as needed.
