Job description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented warehouse employee to join our shipping and receiving team. The shipping and receiving team are responsible for maintaining inventory of products used on utility-scale solar projects. In this role, you will be responsible for counting, packaging and moving items around the warehouse. You will be closely working with the harness production team. Prior experience operating a forklift is ideal but not required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist the shipping and receiving team with various tasks, such as counting, packaging and moving items around the warehouse. Attention to detail Adhere to safety standards: Ensure all work is completed according to company safety guidelines and best practices, maintaining a safe work environment at all times. Collaborate with team: Work closely with supervisors and other team members to meet targets, deadlines, and quality benchmarks. Continuous improvement: Participate in training and initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and processes. Suggest improvements to workflows when necessary.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

High school diploma or equivalent. Additional technical training or certifications in electrical or manufacturing fields is a plus.

Experience operating a forklift is preferred, but not required. Prior experience in production, manufacturing, or assembly, preferably in electrical or solar-related industries is preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and assembly instructions. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Basic understanding of electrical systems, components, and safety practices. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly.

Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time as required in a production environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must comply with safety requirements (e.g., clean-shaven, long sleeves, steel-toe boots).

Must pass a drug screen and background check.

Able to:

Climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding, and stairways.

Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and work at heights or in confined spaces (e.g., towers, vessels, excavations).

Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. (Use assistance for heavier loads).

Stand or walk for extended periods

BENEFITS AND PAY:

$18/hr

Competitive hourly range, based on experience and qualifications.
