Primoris Heavy Civil is seeking a skilled and motivated Paving Foreman with strong concrete slipform paving experience to join our team immediately for a high-impact road and highway project in the Belton, TX area, with travel to other project sites and cities.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Supervise employees' activities at the project site in accordance with schedules, budgets, plans, and pre-establish policies and procedures as directed by the superintendent.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Supervise and coordinate paving crews in daily field operations
  • Oversee concrete slipform paving processes, equipment setup, and finishing
  • Ensure work meets specifications, safety standards, and production goals
  • Work closely with superintendents, engineers, and inspectors to resolve field issues
  • Track crew hours, production quantities, and materials used
  • Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce site safety policies
  • Coordinate deliveries, equipment usage, and crew assignments
  • Travel as needed to various project sites (per diem provided)

Qualification Standards:
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of foreman experience in road, bridges and highway construction.
  • Must have knowledge of concrete slip paving
  • Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation.
  • New Hire Orientation Quiz
  • Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of such individual or others in the workplace.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (assistance recommended for heavier loads).
  • Work extended hours on foot, including on uneven or rough surfaces.
  • Climb ladders, kneel, crawl, or work at heights and in confined spaces.
