Job description

Luxor Staffing is hiring a Plasma/Press Operator starting at $20 per hour with 1st and 2nd shifts available! Weekly pay, possible overtime, incentive and bonus programs, optional direct deposit, benefits from day 1 on the job and much more!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate plasma cutting machines to cut metal parts according to measurements and specifications.
  • Run metal press machines to bend, form, or shape metal components as required.
  • Operate Peddinghaus equipment for punching, drilling, and processing structural steel.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production instructions.
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications.
  • Perform routine machine checks and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience operating plasma cutters, press machines, or similar metal fabrication equipment preferred.
  • Experience with Peddinghaus machinery is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, measurements, and work instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively in a team setting.
