What You'll Do
  • Demonstrate versatility by performing any role on the production line, including filling, labeling, batching, cleaning, and boxing, using both manual processes and automated equipment. Responsibilities include loading and unloading materials, supplying machines, handling components throughout the line, and performing additional tasks as needed.
  • Complete all production documentation, including required manual administrative records.
  • Perform equipment setups and changeovers to support product transitions across all production line machinery, including filling, labeling, shrink-wrapping, and related equipment.
  • Conduct in-line quality checks to ensure products meet established quality standards.
  • Execute essential production functions throughout the shift, including first-article inspections, line clearances, startups, yield counts, and management of returns and rejects.
  • Complete system transactions within the ERP system, including production reporting, scrap reporting, and yield tracking.
  • Participate in daily huddle meetings to share line performance feedback and communicate daily expectations to packaging assistants.
  • Follow standard operating procedures to ensure consistent product quality.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area by completing housekeeping tasks such as breaking down boxes and cleaning workspaces.
  • Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) throughout all production activities.
  • Communicate regularly with leads and supervisors and demonstrate flexibility to adjust priorities on short notice.
  • Work collaboratively with coworkers to promote a positive, team-oriented environment.
  • Lead a team of production line employees by assigning daily tasks and responsibilities to support production goals.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Proficiency in technology, including laptops, iPads, and tablets.
  • Background in production assembly, cosmetic experience is beneficial but not required
  • Must be organized, self-motivated, and deadline-driven
  • Ability to multi-task and move quickly to keep the production line moving
  • Good hand eye coordination and manual dexterity are mandatory
  • Availability during 12 hour window of shift operations (10-12 hour shift during those times) and occasional weekend shifts as needed if hired for Monday through Thursday shift.
  • Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time
