Job Title: Press Brake Machine Setup OperatorJob Description

We are seeking an experienced Brake Press Mechanic (Setup) to support sheet metal fabrication operations. This position is responsible for setting up press brake equipment, installing tooling, validating quality standards, and ensuring efficient production operations. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of press brake setup experience, strong blueprint-reading abilities, and experience working with complex tooling and precision sheet metal fabrication processes.

Responsibilities
  • Set up press brake machines for various sheet metal production jobs.
  • Select, install, and align punches and dies based on part specifications.
  • Read work orders, prints, and setup documentation.
  • Verify dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring equipment.
  • Perform first-piece inspections before releasing jobs to production.
  • Troubleshoot setup, tooling, and machine issues.
  • Support operators during production runs to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and machine adjustments as needed.
Essential Skills
  • 3-5 years of Press Brake setup experience.
