Description

CNC press brake operator is responsible for the set-up and overall operation of the CNC press brake and the quality and productivity of the work produced. Responsible for performing general machine preventative maintenance and clean up.

Requirements

Efficient operation of the CNC press brake machine by Challenging the capabilities of the machine and maximizing the productivity of the operations.

Responsible for reading and interpreting the job orders, and performing the tasks assigned in times meeting or exceeding the stated standard.

Follow the operating procedures, process instructions and safety procedures.

Maintain regular communication with the press brake team and the bay four lead man, relaying any necessary changes to set-up and programming. 

Responsible for verification of forming accuracy while minimizing the parts produced in error and optimizing production, quality, and efficiency.

Confirm order requirements are met, including proper selection of job priority, tooling set up, manipulator operation and program loading.

Perform regular preventative and cleaning maintenance of equipment to ensure maximum machine up-time.

Recognize and report all defects to the lead man and or supervisor immediately.

Accurately complete necessary paperwork and clock in and out procedures

Perform other duties and cross train as directed by the lead man or supervisor.
