MACHINE OPERATOR

Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday / 7:30am to 4pm
Pay Rate: $13/hr.
Location: Houston TX, 77026
Experience: 6months - 1 year


Description of the Machine Operator Position:

Set-up, operate and troubleshoot assembly line machinery, which may include computer numerical control Brake Press, Roll Former, Raz, CNC Punch, Laser, or Amada machines.

Machine Operator Position Requirements:

  • Bilingual
  • Previous machine operating experience
  • Be able to make accurate measurements
  • Machinery diagnostics and troubleshooting experience

Machine Operator Essential job functions:

  • Select and align punch tools.
  • Identifies and select necessary equipment and/or tools.
  • Verify conformance of finished work-piece to specifications.
  • Use bars, calipers, gauges, precision instruments, hand tools, and wrenches.
  • Maintains necessary maintenance records.
  • Maintains good housekeeping in the work areas

Additional job functions:

  • Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor

Machine Operator knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to read and understand English sufficiently.
  • Bilingual
  • Ability to read drawings in order to perform jobs according to specifications.
  • Ability to comprehend additional training in relation to the performing of the work duties.
  • Ability to develop other technical and management skills for future promotion.
