This facility operates six days a week and produces Corn Dogs.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Fryer Operator is responsible for operating production machinery that batters and cooks the corndogs for the Kitchen areas.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Interpret daily production schedule

Operate assigned production equipment per product specifications

Determine equipment adjustments and material requirements

Compile and record production data and reports on volume of production

Prepare equipment for production and test runs

Perform troubleshooting and preventing maintenance

Operate and observe equipment operation to detect work piece defects or equipment malfunction, and measure work piece dimensions to determine accuracy

Record keeping and attention to detail

Ensure work area is clean at all time

Follow department standards

Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

REQUIREMENTS:

Must have three months of machine operator experience in job history

Ability to push, pull, and lift 45 pounds repeatedly during shift

Some areas require occasional lifting up to 70 pounds during Shift

Must stand on hard concrete floors for up to 10 hours per day

Must work in cold/hot temperatures ranging from 40-75 degrees on a routine basis

Must work in wet and/or humid conditions, slippery floors in some areas.

Repetitive bending, reaching, squatting, gripping, and pinching, climbing stairs and/or ladders

Use of Personal Protective Equipment

Position will require Lock-Out Tag-Out certification.

Knowledge of basic food processing compliance, FDA, USDA, and EPA is preferred.

Must be able to work overtime and weekends and other duties as assigned by Management.
