Mindrift is looking for a highly skilled Presentation Designer to join the Tendem project (**https://tendem.ai/**) and drive specialized storytelling workflows within our hybrid AI + human system.

In this role, you'll collaborate with Tendem Agents that handle repetitive tasks, while you provide the critical thinking, domain expertise, and formatting skills necessary to deliver beautifully designed, high-stakes presentations.

This part-time remote opportunity is ideal for creative professionals with hands-on experience in visual communications, information design, and storytelling.

About the Role

This is a freelance role for a Tendem project. As a Presentation Designer, you will focus on storytelling and visual hierarchy. We need a specialist who knows how to communicate complex information beautifully, turning raw data and narratives into compelling, highly persuasive slides and one-pagers. You will utilize various tools such as PowerPoint, Keynote, alongside Adobe Creative Suite or Figma.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Design high-stakes pitch decks and professional one-pagers tailored for specific audiences.
  • Translate complex data into clear visual storytelling with a strong focus on minimalism and precise information hierarchy.
  • Elevate presentations using custom fonts, elegant animations, and perfect visual consistency.
  • Enforce a polished, persuasive, and premium corporate-meets-creative style across all deliverables.
  • Execute formatting quality standards through meticulous validation of visual alignment, pacing, and brand adherence before final delivery.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in graphic design, presentation design, visual storytelling, or data visualization is desirable.
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communications, or related creative fields is a plus.
  • Presentation software: Expertise in PowerPoint, Keynote, etc., for building complex, dynamic, and perfectly animated decks.
  • Design tools: Deep proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) or Figma to create custom graphics and layouts.
  • Data & information design: Ability to translate complex data and multi-level hierarchical structures into clear, minimalist visual storytelling.
  • Typography & animation: Advanced skills in working with custom fonts and smooth, elegant animations for premium deliverables.
  • English proficiency: Upper-intermediate (B2) or above (required).

Additional requirements

  • Hands-on experience creating high-end, premium corporate-meets-creative style layouts.
  • Strong attention to detail and absolute commitment to visual perfectness.
  • Self-directed work ethic with the ability to troubleshoot design challenges independently.
  • Your CV must include a link to your portfolio featuring high-end presentations, pitch decks, and data visualization. Applications without a portfolio link, or without relevant presentation cases, will not be considered.

Project time expectations

For this project, tasks are estimated to require around 10-20 hours per week during active phases, based on project requirements. This is an estimate, not a guaranteed workload, and applies only while the project is active.

Compensation

On this project, contributors can earn up to $50 per hour equivalent, depending on their level and pace of contribution.
