Overview
Nelson Mullins, an Am Law 100 firm, is seeking a Senior Presentation Designer within its Marketing Department to serve as the firm's primary presentation specialist and design team lead. This role collaborates closely with attorneys and marketing professionals to develop high-impact, visually compelling presentations that support client development and internal initiatives. In this role, you will play a key role in elevating the firm's brand through strategic design and leadership of presentation-related work across the firm. This position may be based in the Columbia, Charlotte, Atlanta, or Raleigh office.

A Day in the Life
This role serves as the firm's primary presentation resource and design lead, overseeing workflow, mentoring team members, and delivering high-impact, client-ready materials. The Marketing Presentation Designer partners closely with attorneys and firm leadership to develop polished pitch presentations, proposals, and internal communications, while designing and maintaining branded templates that elevate storytelling through data visualization and custom graphics. In addition to driving presentation strategy, this role supports broader marketing initiatives through graphic design, video, and photo editing, while managing multiple priorities and ensuring consistent, high-quality output across all deliverables.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, communications, or a related field and 6+ years of relevant experience, including team leadership
  • Strong portfolio showcasing presentation work
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, including advanced animation, master slides and custom template development.
