Job description


We are looking for an energetic and positive Learning Center Director with strong communication skills and a passion for helping students succeed to lead the team at our Portland, OR Lindamood-Bellยฎ Learning Center. Join us as we teach students of all ages to read and comprehend to their potential!
Leading a team of skilled educators, the Center Director oversees the daily operation of the learning center, managing client and professional relationships and employee performance. The Center Director provides stellar customer service while engaging and following up with clients to increase student enrollment. In addition, the Center Director represents Lindamood-Bell to the community by presenting at conferences, events, and schools and developing and maintaining professional relationships. This is a regular, full-time position.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Management and sales experience preferred
  • Polished and dynamic public speaker
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Passion for education and implementation of Lindamood-Bell instruction

Responsibilities:
  • Implement and ensure quality delivery of Lindamood-Bell's instruction at the Learning Center.
  • Answer information inquiries to discuss Lindamood-Bell instruction options with prospective clients.
  • Evaluate students' learning profiles to provide accurate recommendations for Lindamood-Bellยฎ instruction, based on evaluations.
  • Perform testing consultations with potential clients and follow up with clients after consultations to facilitate enrollment.
  • Manage a team of instructional and operational staff and provide appropriate professional development for team members.
  • Achieve specific enrollment goals to maintain profitability at the local level, and contribute to the company as a whole.
  • Host Lindamood-Bell functions including VIP luncheon, open house, etc. and represent Lindamood-Bell at Chamber meetings, professional organizations, and other community events.
  • Develop, maintain, and track relationships with referral sources, potential referral sources, area professionals, and past clients.

Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is $85,000 - $87,000.
