Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and mechanical equipment in an industrial setting. This role requires a strong understanding of industrial mechanics and the ability to work with precision measuring instruments. The Millwright will play a crucial role in ensuring equipment reliability and efficiency, contributing to the overall productivity of our operations.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair various types of machinery and mechanical systems.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate alignment and installation of equipment.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with other trades such as HVAC technicians and industrial electricians to ensure seamless operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Analyze equipment performance data to identify areas for improvement or preventative maintenance.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to service requests and maintaining clear communication with team members.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Millwright or in a similar role within an industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial mechanics, including the use of logic controllers and low voltage systems.
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments for alignment and installation tasks.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
  • Previous experience with CMMS is preferred but not required.
