Job Description
Summary:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Mandatory overtime may be required to meet project deadlines)
The Project Manager - Mechanical/Millwright oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical and millwright projects from pre-construction through completion. This role is responsible for managing schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and field teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project delivery. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical understanding of mechanical systems and equipment installation, coupled with excellent leadership and client communication skills.
Description:
โ€ข Plan, coordinate, and oversee all phases of assigned mechanical and millwright projects from start to finish.
โ€ข Develop project schedules, budgets, and work plans, ensuring alignment with client goals and company standards.
โ€ข Coordinate with engineering, estimating, and field teams to deliver safe, high-quality installations on time and within budget.
โ€ข Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors, verifying quality and timely delivery.
โ€ข Monitor project progress through regular site visits and meetings, resolving technical or logistical challenges as they arise.
โ€ข Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and cost tracking.
โ€ข Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and ensuring customer satisfaction.
โ€ข Work closely with safety personnel to uphold company and OSHA standards on all project sites.
โ€ข Lead project closeout activities, including punch list completion, documentation, and turnover to the client.
โ€ข Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery, field efficiency, and team performance.

  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in mechanical construction, millwright, or industrial equipment installation.
