Location: Houston, TX 77015
Compensation: Starting at $28/hour
Job Type: Contract to Full-Time Hire
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM; overtime opportunities available
About the Role
Integrity Trade Services is partnering with a globally recognized cement manufacturer to recruit a skilled Maintenance Mechanic Millwright. This vital role ensures the continuous operation and optimal performance of heavy machinery and production equipment through precise maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and Repair Machinery: Repair, maintain, and troubleshoot mechanical equipment including engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyors, and other production machinery using hand tools, power tools, and precise measurement and testing instruments.
  • Operational Monitoring: Observe machinery in operation, listen for irregular sounds, and identify potential issues before breakdowns occur.
  • Routine Maintenance: Lubricate machinery, replace worn parts, and perform preventive maintenance to extend equipment lifespan.
  • Reassembly & Installation: Reassemble machines after repairs, install or replace machine components per manufacturing specifications, and ensure proper operation.
  • Inspection & Testing: Conduct inspections of machine parts, identify defects, and communicate repair needs to supervisors.
  • Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe and environmentally compliant work environment by adhering to OSHA standards and company safety protocols.
  • Team Participation: Engage actively in weekly safety meetings, report unsafe conditions, and collaborate with team members to promote a safety-first culture.
Qualifications & Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machinery operation.
  • Experience working around moving equipment and machinery.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions, give directions, and work effectively within a team.
  • Punctuality and reliable attendance are essential.
  • Comfort working at heights and in confined spaces.
