Job description

We are looking for experienced Millwright Foremen to join the team in Knoxville. Industrial experience is needed to be successful in this role. Schedule will vary based on plant downtimes.

Your Tasks:

  • To work safely no matter what. Safety is our #1 priority.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings for construction machines.
  • Rigging, moving, and setting equipment, such as HVAC units, using cranes and helicopters.
  • General maintenance on industrial equipment.
  • Demolition as needed.
  • Take accurate measurements using precision tools.
  • Drilling, welding, bolting, and other duties as required.
  • Conduct toolbox talks and assign tasks for the day.
  • Submit timecards for crew members.
  • Coordinate with owners or general contractors to complete jobs on time and within budget.

Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience as a Millwright or similar position. Leadership experience preferred.

You need to be able to:

  • Keep it a Drug-free Workplace.
  • Be punctual and reliable.
  • Work as a team.
  • Work in extremes of heat, cold, bad weather, indoors and outdoors.
  • Stand and walk throughout the workday, and lift/carry max of 60 lbs.
  • Work well in confined spaces.
  • Work above shoulders, crawling, squatting, kneeling, bending.
  • Exercise motor control, with good vision and excellent hand-eye coordination.
