Monetary Metals is a high-growth company at the intersection of precious metals and finance. The company provides a platform for investors to earn interest on gold and silver while offering financing to precious metals businesses. Our mission is to unlock the productivity of gold and silver, enabling a return to sound money principles in the modern economy.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Director of People Operations, the Office Manager is responsible for overseeing many day-to-day administrative and operational functions. This role manages office operations, recruiting coordination, onboarding, payroll administration, vendor relationships, company events, and executive support while ensuring internal processes and systems operate efficiently. The Office Manager works closely across the entire organization to provide exceptional internal service and support the company's continued growth.

Core Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the full recruitment process by crafting job descriptions with hiring managers, posting positions, scheduling interviews, conducting interviews, communicating with candidates, and maintaining applicant tracking records.
  • Lead the onboarding process for new employees, including employment contracts and documentation, orientation, and company systems setup.
  • Coordinate payroll administration with the accounting team and maintain employee records.
  • Plan and execute company meetings, leadership off-sites, employee events, and the annual company conference in Scottsdale, including budgeting, logistics, vendor management, and onsite coordination.
  • Maintain company travel policies/systems and prepare expense reports.
  • Maintain company handbook of policies and procedures, records, and operational documentation to ensure accuracy, organization, and compliance.
  • Manage office budgets, purchasing, and expense tracking.
  • Manage vendor relationships and renewals, including physical facilities.
  • General administrative tasks including physical office management, office mail, document filing, company calendars, and other special projects.
  • Provide selective administrative support for executive leadership.
  • Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and implement solutions that increase efficiency and consistency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, human resources, or a related field preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in office management, operations, or office administration.
  • Experience coordinating recruiting, onboarding, payroll administration, and employee records.
  • Experience planning and coordinating company meetings and events.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS platforms, or other business systems
  • Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
