We're looking for an Inventory Control & Precious Metals Coordinator to play a critical role in safeguarding and tracking valuable materials across multiple production facilities. In this position, you'll oversee inventory management, reconcile precious metal usage, conduct audits, investigate discrepancies, analyze data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest standards of accountability and compliance. Essential Functions

  • Works with various internal departments and off-site facilities to ensure adherence to tracking standards and accurate data documentation.
  • Develops spreadsheets and tools to track materials, ensure reliable inventory counts, and prevent shrinkage.
  • Receives, pickups, and delivers sensitive material.
  • Tracks and compares orders, shipments, and deliveries of raw materials.
  • Collects on and off-site data; compiles reports using data.
  • Reviews surveillance footage for missing gold units as assigned.
  • Offers guidance and training to teams regarding inventory tracking, simple weights, and measure principles.
  • Processes approved invoices, creates batches, and completes monthly roll-forward reports for all labs.
  • Oversees all inventory in Crib Master for local and remote labs.
  • Observes production floors for lost/missing items; communicates with managers for investigation as needed.
  • Performs random spot checks and inventory counts in local and remote labs.
  • Receives and reviews daily gold and platinum log paperwork from production.
  • Runs usage reports (Metal Details) and reconciles against Daily Gold Log documentation.
  • Verifies and retrieves all rewax, splash, sprue and any additional precious materials to ensure accuracy and consistency with production records.
  • Identifies, investigate, and document discrepancies, variances, or issues discovered in daily production paperwork and reporting.
  • Performs monthly physical audits and/or surveillance system reviews to verify inventory accuracy and process compliance.
  • Utilizes computer systems and reporting skills to maintain accurate records, generate reports, and support inventory control activities.
  • Prepares and completes month-end reports, ensuring all production, inventory, and precious metal usage data are accurately reconciled and matched with supporting records prior to month-end close out.
  • Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management.

Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum two (2) years of administrative or clerical experience, strongly preferred.

Special Requirements/Certification:
  • 5-10% travel may be required.
  • Valid driver's license in the State of California.
  • Reliable personal transportation with at least the state minimum insurance coverage; use of personal vehicle is required for essential functions.

Pay Range: $26.00-$30.00 p/hr.
