Job Description

Are you an experienced Pre-Registration Representative looking for a new opportunity with a prestigious healthcare company? Do you want the chance to advance your career by joining a rapidly growing company? If you answered "yes" to any of these questions - this is the position for you!


Daily Responsibilities:  

Pre-register in-scope patient types by gathering patient's information such as demographics, insurance, and clinical information. Includes some phone contact with MD offices and web research.

Ensures document retention and destruction, when appropriate, in compliance with established Policy and/or other applicable Guidelines.

Confidently communicates patient out-of-pocket amounts and facilitates collection, where applicable. Responsible for referral of patients who might have financial difficulty to pay identified resource.

Understands and is able to translate insurance plans to match the needs of the registration with accuracy.

Demonstrates personal accountability by performing to established standards for productivity and quality. 

Participates fully as a team member in a dynamic, client-focused, fast-paced environment.


Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

1 year experience in patient access or similar role

Proficiency in medical terminology

Type 40 WPM
